Sound Trends rocks Lunch at Piero’s with new iPhone music apps

You need to a flashplayer enabled browser to view this YouTube video

Why just listen to music on your iPhone or iPod Touch when you can make it yourself? Sound Trends, the new music software company from the founders of MixMeister Technology, will give journalists a chance to get hands-on with its range of music production apps during Lunch at Piero’s.
Come stretch your voice in Sound Warp, which uses the iPhone’s accelerometer to warp pitch, time, and timbre. Conduct the L.A. Philharmonic with Bravo Gustavo (an Apple Staff Favorite), swinging your phone to control the orchestra’s tempo, beat by beat. Try your hand — or fingertips — at remixing with the Looptastic series, another Apple Staff Favorite. You’ll see why Looptastic made even the world’s crankiest tech commentator, John C. Dvorak, burst into smiles (video clip above).

Sound Trends president and lead programmer Aaron Higgins will be on hand to discuss the inner workings of the iPhone, demonstrate the brand-new Looptastic 3, unveil upcoming features, and, of course, predict where mobile music is going.
