Grace Hopper author will be special guest at Lunch at Piero’s
“The most damaging phrase in the language is: We’ve always done it this way.”
“It’s easier to ask forgiveness than it is to get permission.”
These are two of the famous quotes by inventor, businesswoman and the first female rear admiral, Grace Hopper, inventor of the first compiler and creator of COBOL. Grace Hopper broke not only glass ceilings, but many of the rules of how women, and indeed innovators, realize their vision in the commercial world.
We think Lunch at Piero’s is a great place to honor her with a book signing of “Grace Hopper and the Invention of the Information Age” by author, Dr. Kurt Beyer January 7 and 8 during CES in Las Vegas.
