Summer’s almost done: Journalists and innovators signing up for Lunch@Piero’s

Summer lollygagging is over and we know it’s time to get serious as we witness exciting tech debuts at prestigious events such as TechCrunch50 and DEMO.   Maybe it’s the tough economic times, foreclosures, and government bailouts of but there seems to be a new focus on software that helps people survive in the real world.   I have always believed that there should be high school classes on how to balance a checkbook, iron a shirt (I still can’t), deal with contracts and contractors, negotiate a deal, organize their stuff (we miss you, George Carlin), and read a balance sheet.  So much technology has been developed to fix and manage technology itself.  Perhaps it’s a sign of progress that we are seeing a new generation of consumer electronics and software products that are making life easier and making all of us just a bit smarter and more resourceful.

It is in this spirit that we have established Lunch@Piero’s, an independently produced showcase during CES of the most interesting new gadgets, software, and technologies that will make a difference in people’s lives.  We already have a number of great sponsors and top media lined up for January 8 and 9,  2009 from 11:30 to 2pm right across the street from the Las Vegas Convention Center.   The Lunch@Piero’s showcase is limited to 25 top sponsors.  To be considered for a demo table, contact us here.
